I've had these binoculars (Canon image stabilizer 15x45) for 12 or so years and they've always worked great.  They other day I had some deer to look at and the binoculars started making weird noises as I moved them from side to side.  Yesterday they were making the noises and also very fuzzy.  Anyone have any experience like this?

I also have these binocs and have experienced this on a couple of occasions.  The batteries were low and it was fairly cold outside - around 15 degrees or so.  Replacing the batteries solved the problem.  Please let me know if that works for yours.  Thanks.
