I thought it best to start a new topic on a less troubling playing field.  To all of you who spent allot of time helping me with my peculiar problem I offer my sincerest gratification.  The 3 images are the results of your endeavors.  I restarted from the raw files, following as much of your advice as possible.  Since my PixInsight trial expired last night, I could not do it all.  The 3 pics are very similar and there is probably no need to post them all--I just could not tell which was better.  Thanks again
