Atik 383 shutter vibration?

Having used a DSLR up until now and when imaging, set a delay to allow any vibration from the camera shutter opening to die down before the image is taken.

Is there a requirement to do the the same when using an Atik 383 which also has a shutter?

No. Most of the clatter from DSLRs comes from the mirror moving rather than from the shutter.
