A couple from Saturday

Recommended Posts

Got this one last night. It was a crystal clear night. To many objects to list in this image. The main target i wanted was the Taurus dark cloud. I really struggled to process the gradient out of this. Ran DBE twice. It got rid of most but there is still a little there. Any advice?

I got this one on Saturday night. The Mrs only let me out for a couple of hours. Its the first time ive had the DSLR on the scope. This is another target ive always wanted to have a stab at. I'll try it with the CCD when I have more time. I think the Focus is a tad soft.

Cheers for looking.

Any CC welcome.

A couple of fine images! I think you could usefully kill some of the Green bias in the M33 image, you may like the result.

Yes, run SCNR on it and then you can bump up the colour by doing a LRGBcombination on it,

which will also help to reduce chrominance noise.

Sometimes I find ABE does a better job on gradients than DBE.
