Hi Paul,

Since you will as I recall be targeting multispectral viewing in the 2.0 release, how about adding control for the SX USB mini filter wheel after that? It seems like an obvious synergy with multispectral, and from what I gather from the documentation the control commands are dead simple...

Thanks again for your great software!

Hi Alex,

This is something I have been considering. I will probably get the SX wheel myself when the time comes and would need something to control it on the mac so was either going to write a small utility to control wheel for mac, or integrate it into SL as an extra tab that appears if the wheel is connected - i'll probably favour the integrated approach!

Have you got one of the SX wheels?

Hi Paul,

I don't have the SX wheel now but am wanting to get a wheel and when I do want to get a computer controlled one - not manual.  The SX is more expensive than some others but I like their engineering approach and figured it would also be more like to be integrated into my favorite real-time imaging platform...

My thinking is that I want to be able to flip between LP, Ha, O III filters on the fly, and also flip to an opaque filter to re-take darks without having to go out and climb a ladder to cover the scope up.  Longer term I am thinking about starting to fool with variable star stuff, so would want to be able to flip between photometric filters.
