well I am guessing that if you placed it in your focuser draw tube and centred  the primary in the crosshair then that should mean it is perfect. To check this if rotated it 180 degree's and it is still centred then the alignment would appear fine.

You could do it in 45 degree increments actually, if each time it remains centred then that would answer your question. At least I think it would.

You could even see how well centered your focuser is by racking it up and down with the Cheshire in it and see if anything moves around in your view. If all remains the same - you're focuser AND Cheshire are fine.

I do this with my laser also for fun. But I'm a bit strange anyways..... :icon_colors:
