tried to capture Cygnus, this is a single 60sec exposure from my back garden but as you can see i was washed out with dew.

so now i have a heater strip and 17ah power pack from halfords......

power pack has a large switch on front that i wired dew controller into so i can power on or off and it also comes with 5v usb that will power the star adventurer...Happy days

I use a Cigarette 3 way socket run from a 12v Tracer, a couple of USB car chargers (they give out 5v)  one supplies the SA with power via a usb lead, another via a USB to Phono supplies a dew heater @ 5v for the DSLR lens, is worked so far....

Hi tinker

I was looking at a power tank but the price put me off... so when I saw this at less than 60 squids for 17ah thought I would give it a punt.

Took it to pieces as soon as I got it home , removed the jump start leads and wired in the dew controller to the switch, there are also 2 12v cig sockets that might come in handy. ... now I got a nice neat mobile set up.... had it all running for last 4 hours and still at 12volts
