Meade DS2000 with Autostar #494

I recently puchased a cheap second hand Meade DS2000 mount with an auto star #494 controller, with a view of using the motors and controller to make a computerised fork mount.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the aux port is used for? (the hand controller plugs into the HBX port).

ah, I think I've found out, it connects to a PC for control and software downloads with the Meade Starfinder software.
