Celestron Skysense

Hi from Robbie in Derry Ireland ,I have a celestron 127,is it worth my while getting the star sense for this scope, had problem trying to set it up. thanks

Someone will ask so it might as well be me: Which 127? Mainly which mount is it on - Alt-Az/Eq, Synscan, I would half guess a goto as you mention setting it up, this usually means the data and the goto.

Will say first that I think some people find Star Sense useful and others find it helps not on little bit and others that it makes it all worse. If it is data and alignment that is the problem then not sure that adding another chunk of electronics on really helps.

A computerised scope is not plug anf play, actually the user needs to do a fair bit, and needs to know a little about what they are doing and why.

 its a celestron nexstar 127 slt mak with the gps, all i am asking is it worth buying the starsense, like to hear a few opions, thanks.
