One day old moon

Just been out in the garden viewing the one day old moon well below Venus. Very pretty. Nice slender crescent.

It's nice to have seen the eclipse yesterday and watch it traverse the face of the sun and then see it one day into it's next orbit this evening.

Hi Greg, I was just outside looking at the moon now two days old and thinking similar thoughts, having just given a wonderful eclipse just Friday. It's a lovely still night and Venus makes a tremendous companion.
