Cleaning Optics Question

Have notcied that my MPCC and LP filter are looking a wee bit gruby and wondered what would be the best way to clean them.

Am thinking of somehting along the lines of meths with a lint free cloth, but was wondering if that would have any detrimental effect on the optics, particularly any coatings that may be on them.

Most people say the Baader cleaning fluid, I assume you can get it from FLO.

I tend to use IPA, mainly as I have a large bottle of the stuff.

Cannot see the coatings being adversly effected. People must clean them all the time and I very much suspect most get breathed on and a Kleenex (or similar) tissue is used. :eek:

IPA.....India Pale Ale.....never thought about using that for cleaning.... :-p
