R.A SynScan slewing problems

Hi guys just got my 127 skymax on an eq-5 with SynScan !!

The dec axis slews fine with the up-down controls on the SynScan remote but the r.a doesn't budge or even make a noise when I push the left-right buttons, even when star-aligning only the dec axis slews !! Any help please ?

When slewing in ra does the motor turn? If not its a connection problem. If it turns have you locked the ra axis? Or maybe the gears are slipping or a grub screw has come loose.
