rowan46 Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 the slt mount is an alt az mount so is really only suitable for lunar and planetary imaging. With that in mind you could do a lot worse than a 127 skymaxhttp://www.firstlightoptics.com/maksutov/skywatcher-skymax-127-ota.html its just big enough for visual and has a nice long focal length so takes magnification well for lunar and planetary imaging.
