Couldn't resist this little gem from an old and rare bookshop nearby. My first scope was a Charles Frank reflector and I was struck with a sudden bout of nostalgia when I saw this and had to buy it. Published in 1959 it will be instresting to see how much of it is still relevant (most of it I suspect).

I was amazed to find that you can download an electronic copy of this book at https://archive.org/details/FranksBookOfTheTelescope

Nothing like an original hardback copy though. :smiley:
