Any (Love)Joy?

Hi all,

I've been out observing tonight and thought I'd have a crack at trying to catch Lovejoy on camera.

I took a few wide angle images and would just like some confirmation that I've actually found the comet and it's not just wishful thinking. I do tend to feel the only luck I get is bad luck!

It's not a particularly good image, and it's been heavily cropped for the purpose of sharing it here, but I'm at the stage where I would just be content with having a picture of it, even if the other images do put it to shame

I appreciate my stars aren't particularly sharp; I'm sometimes having an issue with focus as I don't fully understand what it means to focus on infinity.

I viewed it last night, albeit briefly. (Here in Maine USAit was -6(f) and windy. ) in my CGEM 925 EdgeHD it was a fuzzy, maybe slightly green snowball. No tail. I used a 23 mm Celestron lens.

Saw it last night for the first time in 10X50 binoculars. We've had a lot of cloudy weather.
