DSS settings?

I've been trying to stack my subs in DSS. They are FITS files from my mono Orion G3.

If I use the average setting it works fine if I try and use any of the other ones it closes down. I've tried it on both my PC and laptop and it's the same.

Are the other options just for RAW files or colour, or am I doing something wrong?
