Scope ideas for Captures, using Canon 5D Mk II

I have been making celestial time lapses for several years, and feel the need to get a closer look at several objects, like Jupiter, the occasional comet, nothing that would require a gargantuan rig. Of course, by looking, I mean photographing. 

My camera and support consist of a Canon 5D Mk II, and Gitzo 1325. My camera is stock,  I'm not sure how much I'd be missing by not acquiring a modified camera. But I would not rule out a purchase of a Canon 20D if it were recommended.

Budget would be approx. $2K US.

Could anyone please mention a couple suggestions I can browse at B&H?
