Kuiper belt?

ok so i wasn't sure where to put this but i've been reading up on the new horizons mission that is scheduled to reach pluto by 2015. i was wondering after its reached there and it carries on going as it doesnt enter orbit, will it reach the kuiper belt or will it just continue going? and miss?

just a little thing i was pondering, i bet you guys thought i was gonna ask could i see them through my scope

The mission does plan to image some objects in the kuiper belt as a secondary objective if i remember rightly.

I hope I am right about this but......Pluto is in the Kuiper belt right?
