Startravel 102 scope in Startravel 80 bag?

Hi,

Last month I posted a question asking about the dimensions of the Skywatcher Startravel 102, as I wanted to know if it would fit in the Startravel 80 bag that I have.

Based on the replies I received, it seems that it would just about fit (with the dew shield removed), but as I'm about to now purchase the scope, I just wanted to be sure and ask if anyone who has both the ST80 bag and the ST102 scope could check to see if it fits okay (without the dew shield).

I'm basically looking for the best carry-and-go scope/bag combination, and this seems perfect for me, but would like to sure that the scope fits in the bag before I buy.

Best to grab a simple backpack and toss the scope in along with a red dot finder, diagonal and a couple of pieces.

Plenty of room for passport and other essentials as well.
