Hi all,

After having some problems with the EQ-Sky mount that came with my scope,

by the way of serious wobble and vibration whilst focusing, Our own Naz kindly offered

an EQ3-2 mount to try in it's place, to see if it made any difference.

When Naz came and had a look at the mount, we discovered an unacceptable amount of

movement in both the RA and DEC axis joints, which we believed to be the cause.

Naz fetched his mount from the car, and helped in setting up the tube rings on the mount

and carefully put the OTA in place, and assisted in the balancing.

It sits behind me now, all set up, and looks the "Puppies Playthings!" and tonight, the forecast

looks very promising to get out and try it for the first time, and also try out 2 new EP's that i got to replace the Kellner's, 2, well tidy, celestron Plossl's in 9 and 25mm flavours!

Thanks once again Naz for your kindness and, above all, trust.

and if all goes well tonight, i will be down the cashpoint in the morning!!!!!!!!

Nick......
