I think I reached the limits of my equipment (Pentax K30, O-GPS1, 55-300mm DAL) last night. I had tried M22 several times before and never got more than a diffuse blob out of it. Some might argue it is still a diffuse blob but I can see some defined stars in it and I'm happy with the result. My thanks go again to AstroAndy. Thanks to you, I now know what gradient removal is, and more importantly how to do it :grin: .
