Had a quick half hour out the back tonight and was pleasantly surprised by how good the seeing was. Only took binoculars monopod and ball mount.found the cluster in Hercules no problem then up to epsilion lyra for quick look before moving down to the wild geese cluster , below this and to the west I found two faint areas of regularity which I'm assuming we're the eagle and omega,nebulae , never seen either before so quite chuffed. Ended my session with a sucessful hunt for comet Jacques . I'm really in love with my bins at the moment.
