Bahtinov Focus Mask. ????

Hi All, Need a bit of advice.

I have recently bought the above mask and a 'Flexi-Heat Dew Shield' with controller Etc.

Will the Mask work OK if I  attach it directly to the dew shield, or do I have to attach the Mask directly to the scope ???

Haven't been able to experiment myself because of the constant overcast sky & I can't find any advice on this.

It will work just fine on the front of the dewshield ...
