Does anyone know if Pierro Astro modifies the SkyWatcher SW AZ-EQ6 GT mount? I know they modify other SW mounts, but I have not been able to find about mods for this mount. Better if he sells it already modified.

The 2 mounts are very different beasts. The AZ EQ6 has belt drives rather than gears so is less prone to backlash as well as being quieter in use. It also uses encoders where as the EQ6 does not. I believe it has a larger diameter counterweight bar also. Not sure what mods you are looking to make?
