Brake disc pier head

Made not for myself because I already have a pier, but for a friend who is setting up a new one. Two brake disks and three 16mm SS threaded rods + sundry parts to attach the mount head. The pier is 10" OD heavy wall PVC tube with reinforcing bars, the threaded rods will be embedded in the concrete during final assembly.

That's great! I started down this route but had to scrap it due to problems with planning permission (my wife). I think mine was from a Skoda which perfectly matches the HEQ5!

I think these were Volkswagon Golf disks, although I doubt it makes much difference by the time you've drilled holes in them

That looks nice.

The disks are for a SEAT Toledo, and they were very inexpensive from Ebay.

It's all coming together and I should be ready to comision my AstroShed "Whirlpool Observatory" in the next week or so.
