Star trails help

Hi all,

I tried doing star trails last night which went ok i took about 150 photos and this afternoon i tried to stack them using starstax for the Imac.

The software began to stack them then stopped saying the pixel size is diffrent from the other photos, it said expected size 5184 x 3456 actual 5184 x 2916, i looked at the photos and for some reason my canon 600D has taken the photos between 5184 x 3456 and 5184 x 2916 even though i shoot in RAW only.

When i looked at the photos on the LCD screen some of the pictures have a black band on the top and bottom (like what you get when watching a film on a wide screen TV) and some fill the LCD screen, can anyone give me some help on this.

How did you convert your RAWs to the file format you used in StarStax? I suspect that this process has chopped some of your images up.
