teleconverter with a telescope

i picked up a set of lens's from the cash generator shop and among them there was an 3x1 vivitar teleconverter just wondered if any one has used one before in AP i did a day time test (nothing but cloud at night round here) .

i think it may be worth a go it has a t2 thread male and female so it goes strait onto the scope and camera   the clock is 1.5 miles away

from what I have read it works exactly like a barlow, but there are pro's & cons as with all things
