My first lunar image using APT and Registax. I have the bug now. :-)

Taken using an ED80, x2 barlow, and Canon 1000D

APT software to record live view at 10x zoom

300 images created an avi in PIPP. Then off to Registax 6 to take the best 20%.

I'm amazed how much of a difference the wavelets function in Registax makes to the detail.

Strangely this image was taken at about 1530 on Sun. It was blue originally (as the sun was out) but I'm not sure how I ended up with a black and white image. Pretty sure I ticked the colour box.

Tips on a postcard please.
