Meade Autostar 3 Extension Cable

Hi Guys,

I'm setting up a remote obys and wanted to be able to control my LS 8" with the Autostar 3 from a distance of about 10meters. The provided cable is coiled and really only good for about 1 meter. Does anyone know where I can find a cable that will reach up to 10m. I'm not looking to link it to my pc other than for imaging at the moment.

Hopefully I'm not the first to want to do this.

I guess I'm the first person in history to have this issue. Just in case anyone else comes across this problem the answer is as follows.

The connectors on each end are RJ10's NOT RJ11's.................10m is probably the longest distance before you get signal problems. I normal telephone extension cable works but I got a guy at Astrodevelopments to make me a bespoke cable for less than £20 which works a treat. Hope this info helps someone else.
