My first Orion Neb pic - feedback welcome

Hi,

My first decent image.

Constructive feedback welcome as I'm keen to improve.

Taken with standard EOS550 using my CPC925 as a lens - 20sec exposure not processed in anyway.

You captured a lot of nebulosity! Keep up the great work!

That has a lot of detail in there, a bit of star trailing which means that the whole image will be out a bit in the same way the stars are.

I'd love to get anything near to that, for a first good attempt that is excellent.

Well done, we all look forward to your future images if this is the starting standard.

CCD instead of DSLR?

Filters?

Equatorial wedge?
