Great article by Bob Berman in Feb 2014 Astronomy

Hi folks - just a heads up / recommendation that Bob Berman has written a cracking article in the February 2014 edition of Astronomy. It's on page 11 an called "Ball of crushed fire". Its a short, down to Earth description of some of the densities of various space objects - and the most concise article I've ever read on the subject. Mr Berman uses some brilliant memorable analogies, and would be really useful for teaching young astronomers.

For UK readers here - although Astronomy is an American magazine, and overseas subscription can be a little pricey, I find my copies in WH Smith...

Thanks for the heads up. I  had a 12 month subscription running with Astronomy last year but did not renew, I have picked it up from Smiths previously, will have a look.
