Mars from the 15/16 Jan

Hi all,

Boredom's setting in here with a constant stream of cloud, cloud and more cloud on top

Here's my last Mars capture from just after midnight on the 15th January. The conditions were a bit windy and the seeing fairly poor on this occasion. I was also going down with a stinking cold which I think has been doing the rounds. I decided not to try for the following night when the seeing apparently improved considerably - doh!

Hi David,

I hope you're better too. I thought I'd shaken it off but still have a sore throat even now

I should be able to make it to Astrofest this year so perhaps we will meet again.

Excellent images as usual.

I managed two colds in December including Christmas Day itself. They didn't develop into full-blown 'man-flu' but they were guaranteed to coincide with clear skies!
