Stellarium not connecting to scope

Hi peeps

Any help pls,I got a plugable cable,my laptop connected to my hand control nexstar,I've gone on stellarium and gone to telescope control and the configure button at bottom left does not hi light so can't press it,any tips,I think I've installed the drivers ok for the plugable serial to USB cable but no joy

Not knowing anything about this only as working in IT, have you checked Device Manager for the USB device. If it's listed as unrecognised then drivers still need to be installed properly.

You might/probably need Stellarium Scope:

I had same problem but it works a treat with stellarium scope installed
