Celestron eyepiece kit

My new Nexstar 6se came with only 1 eyepiece, so I've been looking at what to get.

I see Celestron do a kit of 5 eyepieces in a nice silver case for £200. Is it any good?

I've actually ordered the kit and it should be with me tomorrow.

I'll report back as soon as I've had chance to try them out.

Hi Bruce,I bought one of these kits-used-from a fellow board member, after reading a fairly favourable review on Astro-Baby's site. The 32mm has to be my favourite EP of the set.In retrospect, maybe I should have gone for buying individual EPs-though the case is o.k.,and the filters can maybe get more usage for planetary observing than they have to date.

I think these kits are usually much cheaper than the RRP? Last time I looked they were £130 on Amazon.

Yep. I got mine off Amazon for £119.

My scope only came with a 25mm eyepiece, and I was after a 9mm/10mm. As this comes with an 8mm I thought the rest of the kit might be worth the extra £90.
