Andy want to swap BSTs :D but on a more serious note, they work fine in my 10 inch. I would say in my case the 25mm suffers the most.  Personally I find aberrations can be seen in them, also in the heritage at f/5, but it is just a question of  whether it annoys or not.  Also It will become more obvious depending what it is you are looking at and test for it specifically.  I did realise after I got a few different types/makes the various differences/characteristics became more apparent.

All that said.  The BSTs I still like a lot, for the price too.

I've got a fair smattering of MaxVisions. The BST's are are a significant improvement over the stock SW ones, but the MV's give a clearer view. Sadly the shortest they do is 16mm which is great but if you wear glasses, the eye relief is a bit tight.

Bare in mind that my only experience of the BST is the 8mm which I am happy with, but for the longer eyepieces I would go for the MV's.

I was going to get the BST 5mm as well but am now thinking that treating myself to something green in the fullness of time is the way forward. I'm on a self imposed eyepiece embargo at the moment........

The 24mm MV is a great call - my favourite in the 250px.
