New Frontiers arrived...

Hi all

Just wanted to thank everyone for comments and advise given on my deliberations of what binocular.

I finally decided and got a pair of Hawke Frontier ED 10x50...thumbs up to Sherwoods, best price I could find currently, instant email reply to confirm stock at lunchtime and received in post next day.

I'm not experienced enough to give a competent review but can just say they blew me away!

Comparing them to my old 10x50 they are brighter and the clarity is just awsome.

The magnification is the same but I'm seeing blades of grass now and its a revelation.

Seem sturdy and well made., much more compact than my old porros and I find it far easier to hold them steady.

I just can't wait for clear skies!

Definitely a pair that will keep me happy and do all that I need at least.

Next postings probably full of astro questions for newbies.
