Help with MammutL429 CCD camera, please.

Hi everyone,

I'm a new member in this forum. My ñame is Rafael, and I'm from Spain.

I bought a Mammut L429 CCD camera six montth ago. I've been working with it and i haven't had any problem. However, i decided to update its Firmware this morning. I used Night Wacht Studio (NWS) to do it. When i finished, my CCD didn't work, and it wasn't detected by no one software MaximDl, Astroart, or NWS). I've reinstalled all drivers again, but it has been unusefull.

I think original Firmware is missing, but i can not recover it now. I've been looking for it in the internet and the official site of Mammut, but unsuccessful.

Could you help me, please? I only need the original Firmware, I guess.

You should contact Brightstar - they will know what to do.

If you corrupted the firmware and can't communicate with the camera to update it then it's effectively 'bricked' - and will be unresponsive to any command. An exchange of EPROM chips may be required to get it going again.

They have just solved my problem...!

They used TimeViewer and re-install the firmware again...
