Simple question which I suspect will have a simple answer.

Really getting to grips with Stellarium (0.12.4) in fact better than the RDF on the scope which I was warned of, we are getting there with it but the first couple of outings and we struggled to star hop. 

So I am thinking that one day in the future we may purchase the Telrad, now the question.... In stellarium we have the telrad button which puts the view finder up, however if you measure from one star to another and it measures say 1.5 degrees, the telrad is a mile out with its rings! Am I missing something here?

Are there any setting which I have not found as yet to alter this?
