M1 Crab Nebula - first attempt with Canon 70D

I took advantage of the clear skies early last night to try my new Canon 70D out on the Crab Nebula. This is 5x 5mins at ISO 1600 and 4x 5 mins at ISO 3200. 45 mins in total. Stacked with DSS. I tried dark and bias frames in DSS but just got rubbish out, so this is just lights. Final processing in PSE 12 (needed to buy that for the 70D RAW codecs that aren't available in PSE 11, yet the DSS freeware somehow was able to decode!).

Not up to the standard of others on here, but reasonable first attempt. Clearly many hours of exposures and better understanding of the stacking software is needed to get more impressive results.
