Stellarium star names

Stellarium has started? calling stars by different names...e.g.  Castor has now become "The twins forward head";  Pollux " The twins posterior head";  Aldebaran is now called " Follower of the Pleiades"; Capella is now " The Pleiades watcher".

I have never heard of these terms and, as I'm having enough trouble at my age learning the sky I don't really want another set of names. I'm sure it's just a setting thing but I'm blowed if I can find how to change it.

Anyone give me a pointer please to what needs changing?

No worries, folks...Somehow I managed to set Srarlore to Egyptian. Reset to Western and I'm a happy bunny!

Which version are you using? I'm on v0.12.4 and all is normal.

Sounds interesting, gives a bit of an idea to what they considered most relevant. Pleiades were up there near the top it would seem.

Must remember to try dropping "The twins posterior head" into a conversation rather then Pollox.

The chinese have an odd way of naming stars, they have these "fifth star of three stars" names.
