The right shutter speed for my scope.

Lee, when you were taking 5 second exposures was you moving this scope as the camera was taking photos or just moving it back inbetween??

I was moving the scope whilst the shutter was open so it was a case of trial and error really. 17 times out of 50 I got it almost perfect but the rest where useless.

I must say I'm warming towards the idea of a EQ5 with motors and a remote controlled focuser.

Is it hard to fit the motors and get the scope tracking???

I couldn't tell you I haven't even looked into it yet I've just found the motors on FLO. I hope it isn't too complicated as I'm a biff when it comes to technical stuff lol.

Tbh mate DSLR arnt really very good at imaginf planets as the chip is too big so it will be small.

These are the best i have so far but seeing was bad and i was using the x2 barlow
