200p + dslr balance.

hi guys n gals, Ithis afternoon I want to add some weights to the back of my scope so when the dslr is on it it's perfectly balanced.

Where do I start?

bean bags and velcro 

have wife/gf or yourself make a few of those sausage dog draft excluder your granny used to have back in the 70's

fill them with cheap packet Rice grains. 

mount camera and take your bean bag excluder, warp this around the rear of the tube of telescope 

use a bit of selotape to hold it inplace so you can mark off where it needs to be.

remove excluder and add the velcro fastener to the excluder , job done. 

when you want to Image you slip your weighted excluder over the scope tube and slide it up/down to the balance point.

use a bit of white micropours tape to mark the balance point for the weighted excluder.

it is a low tack tape and should not leave much of a sticky residue when removed.
