Comet detection in DSS

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me with comet detecting in Deep sky stacker?

I took some subs of Lovejoy last week and was able to select the nucleus in the 'add comet' mode and then stack with comet sharp and the stars trailed - lovely

but today I have taken some more subs but now it will not select the comet when you hover the mouse over it. - The comet reticule will appear over the stars but not the comet when the comet nucleus is clearly visible in the registered light frames - quite frustrating

Has anyone had this problem and/or been able to overcome it?

You can manually select the comet position on each image with cross-hairs if you invoke the editing mode.

It will auto-detect, but if the comet is too faint, you can force the position by pressing the shift key while you select the position.
