Daft Question Maybe?

Hi all, thought I would ask a quick question before my list to Santa goes in.

I am wanting to get the synscan goto upgrade for my SW200p. This comes with motors which I don't have so once it's fitted will this track a star or DSO for a period of time or just find it?

Find and track, needs guide camera, scope, laptop for guiding if you went for that later.

Pretty evil manufacturer that makes one that will find the target then lets it drift out of view by not tracking, I can hear the screams of complaint already. :grin:

After the mount has slewed to the target it will continue to track at sidereal rate.
