I've snapped the earth's shadow rising in the east after sunset many times from home.  The other evening got a chance to test my Archos tablet in stop-motion video mode via the front facing camera on the event @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtjosSuxaos @ 1 frame every 10s - the max the Android s/ware allows but slowed it down by factor x2 during editing.  

There's some 'jumps' in the camera auto exposure as the light faded.  Note the flock of birds early in sequence near horizon. Tablet propped on bedroom window cill for ~20 min - hope you like clip
