First proper attempt to stack and process

Here ya go: M38 taken on 9th Oct. 30 lights 8secs exposure using Sharpcap. Nexstar 6SE, modified SPC900NC, 0.5x focal reducer so f5. Stacked DSS using no darks or bias and then it took me quite a while to play with the curves to bring up the faintest stars without burning out the brightest. I'm quite pleased because if I compare to Cartes du Ciel using the 3uc catalog it corresponds with the chart reasonably well and shows stars down to about 14.5M. Would love to hear your comments and any critique or suggestions to improve (like taking some darks!!!)
