Canon 30d vs 450d

Hi All

I have atm Canon 30D unmodded

Seen Add for cheap Canon 450D question is: is it worth upgrading ? my concern is pixels on old 30D are about 50% bigger

so would i actually get worst pictures with 450D ? or the new chip makes up for it ?

pros for 450D would be Live View thats for sure , its a bit lighter and 12Mp vs 8Mp

Any advice is welcomed
