Good Afternoon Fellow Astronomers.

I may be telling you all the obvious, but Wed & Thurs nights look crystal clear.

My Astro forecasts are usually right and although it is a bit damp & cloudy now. It is supposed to be great from 9pm onwards.

I am in the Midlands but generally it looks good.

was great at 10 last night and i didnt go out, set alarm for 3 and its cloud in wolverhampton should have gone out last night.

Good evening viewing. Locked onto Jupiter for a few hours gazing. My new BST Explorer 12mm is not bad. Bit of ghosting but sharp belts. 254x mag was ok, still sharp.

Enjoyed M42 with my 26mm SP. Probably need bigger but very bright sharp clouds and the horse head. I'm impressed.

Well, fun over until next week it seems, however now the scope is back indoors. I could always view the moon from the spare room.
