Was out looking around with the bins on Saturday and found that I was getting a better view with out my glasses. I normally wear varifocals but it was more comfortable viewing without.

The strange thing I don't normally look at the sky naked eye unless I'm wearing my glasses and was pretty sure I couldn't spit Mizar/Alcor. I happened to look without my glasses and found that the old eyes are not so shabby after all as I could now see the split. Seems very strange.
