Coma Corrector with Baader Hyperion 8-24mm Zoom Mark III

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I´m looking around for some investment and I can´t stop thinking of  buying this pair: the Hyperion zoom and GPU Coma Corrector, fairly expensive, but looking for a lasting investment. I´m considering the possibility of using them toguether with an EOS and for visual also, but totaly lost in back focus and adapters  that I´ll need.

Am I over coma correcting the scope I´m considering to buy? That is a GSO 200mm f/4 Newtonian. Is the carbon tunning by TS (https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p5782_GSO-Carbon-Fibre-Newtonian-Telescope-8--F-4---Tube-made-in-Germany.html) solve some possible weight issues that can occur by pairing a CC, the Hyperion and an EOS?

Can I achieve good CC only with de Hyperion zoom? Maybe saving some money for now?

What do you think?

Thanks any help, hope I can learn with you! :)
